Control Home and room music in Mimic Voice

Mimic Voice: Use the Background Music and Sound Effects settings without confusing them with microphone permission.

By DROPINE MEDIA LLC · Updated

Choose your music preference

Open Settings and find Background Music. This switch controls the menu and room background tracks. Sound Effects has its own setting for interface and result cues. Turning those cues off is different from refusing microphone permission, which prevents the game from recording an imitation.

Understand music during a round

Background music should stay out of the recording stage. Listen to the reference and wait for the countdown instead of treating menu music as the sound you must imitate. The main menu and room use different background tracks; victory audio belongs to the results flow rather than an endless recording loop.

Check after changing screens

Try Home, a room lobby and the return from results with your chosen preference. If music overlaps, remains silent unexpectedly or returns while disabled, report the transition and device model. Avoid reinstalling to fix a sound preference, and do not clear account data while testing audio.
