Restore the connection first
If the game reports lost contact with the room, check Wi-Fi or mobile data and keep the existing app session open. A server timeout does not necessarily mean your device has no internet. Note whether other apps work and wait for the game’s reconnection state to settle.
Return without creating a duplicate room
Bring Mimic Voice back to the foreground and follow the room’s retry or reconnection prompt. Do not treat reopening the app as a guarantee that an expired room still exists. When the server says the room is closed, ask the group for a new code instead of repeatedly retrying it.
Check the group’s current phase
Ask the host whether the match continued, ended or needs a fresh lobby. An interrupted recording may need another attempt according to the game’s displayed state. Do not assume an unfinished take was uploaded. Report persistent failures with approximate time, device and the message displayed, without sending account credentials.
